Unleash the Power of the Female Brain: Supercharging Yours for Better Health, Energy, Mood, Focus, and Sex is a guide on how to strengthen, optimize and heal the most important part of you: your brain. Specifically you will learn how to harness the unique strengths of the female brain – intuition, collaboration, empathy and a little worry -- and how to overcome some of its inherent vulnerabilities, such as depression and being unable to turn your brain off.
The book will help you end the confusion regarding hormones, get your cravings under control, no matter where you are in your cycle, and optimize your brain for love, sex and relationships. Plus, the book will help you get your brain ready for babies, and give you insight into how to raise them in a brain healthy way. It will give you 12 simple hour-long exercises to assess, train and strengthen your brain. It’s the only owner’s manual you will ever need for your female brain.

I love the balance of detail and `big picture'. There's enough detail, like a description of the good and bad of estrogen including the 2:16 ratio, to help you appreciate the nuts and bolts of hormones. While at the same time there are lists, like the key vitamins, minerals and herbs for hormone balance, that make this book easy to understand and apply in your everyday life.
