A recipe guidebook worth keeping and using frequently

Delicious, healthy and smart recipes combined with gorgeous pictures make this cookbook worth your time and effort. I have small adhesive tabs marking my favorites for easy reference.

Yummy Pancakes

This is my go to cook book for good brain health. I make the banana pancakes, smoothies, weekly. Thank you for all the helpful tips as well!


Together Dr. Amen and Tana Amen are a megaforce. Wonderful delicious recipes. Although, I would recommend people buy empty condiment bottles/and jars to store your homemade sauces/all-purpose baking mix etc... preparing this in bulk well in advance will give you back your most precious commodity.... TIME!

Colorful book

This book is really beautiful and creative. Rich of delicious recipes and inviting pictures. It is complete with descriptions and instructions on healthy cooking methods, and healthy choices, so as Dr. Amen and his wife recommend in the Brain Warrior book. I like many of the recipes, but did not have chance to try all yet. I do like one in particular that is easy to make, “The orange, fennel and blueberry salad". But there is a lot more than simple salads!


Love this cookbook! Delicious and easy to prepare recipes especially for the novice cook! Hope Tana will write another soon!

The Brain Warrior's Way Cookbook has become my very favorite cookbook, and I am giving away my other cookbooks. Delicious, and very healthy recipes. I am so grateful for this cookbook as I believe deeply in eating healthy.

Hate to read - but LOVE this cookbook!

I Hate cooking but love this cookbook. It's very clean and easy to follow. I typically throw on some soothing jazz, while following the recipes on my iPad. I hope one day Dr. Amen, and Tana Amen would create a food delivery service. A place where I can have my meals prepared, cooked, and delivered to my doorstep each week. (Now that would be heaven!)

Love the Recipes!

I have had this book for about 1 month and I have made many things from it already! One of my favorites is the Super-Focus Smoothie in the morning. I make this smoothie at least 3 times per week and on those days I don't miss that first cup of coffee! So far, I have been finding ingredients and items from the book easily. I love the chapter with the medicinal properties of the spices! I've been getting a few new items per week to enhance my recipe-versatility. For me, hardly any of the recipes scare me since I am a very reactive hypoglycemic, so I am thrilled!! Thank you so kindly!
